Jessa's Barnyard Buddies Scholarship
A scholarship for our Buddies and Herdsman
Jessa's Barnyard Buddies Scholarship is a special opportunity for students who have participated as a "Buddy" or "Herdsman" in the Livestock Experience program. This scholarship is designed to support promising young individuals who are committed to continuing their education after high school, weather through college, trade school, or military service. The scholarship aims to recognize the hard work, leadership, and dedication demonstrated by these students while contributing to the Barnyard Buddies community. Through this scholarship, we hope to encourage further educational pursuits and help ease the financial burden of academic endeavors for those who have shown passion and commitment to both their education and Jessa's Barnyard Buddies program.

"I have been a Buddy for the last 2 years at the Livestock Experience. My first year, I was nervous, but once I got to be around the kids, I knew it was going to be a great experience. It was so enjoyable to see their faces light up when they got to hold their lamb or goat."

Rylee Powers

"Being a buddy taught me patience, empathy, and how to adapt my communication to meet different needs. Watching their confidence grow as they bonded with all the animals showed me the powerful impact of hands-on learning and emotional support."
