Jessa’s Barnyard Buddies is committed to giving back to and supporting the local community through education, inclusion, mentorship, and meaningful community involvement. They have participated in several Ag Days at elementary schools throughout Los Banos, providing students with hands-on opportunities to learn about the animals showcased in our Livestock Expo, and the importance of inclusion within our community. They have also supported the community by attending the Autism Awareness event hosted by the Los Banos Fire Department, helping promote acceptance, awareness, and inclusion for individuals with autism and their families. In addition, Jessa’s Barnyard Buddies has donated school supplies and materials to students with special needs to help ensure they have the resources necessary to be successful in the classroom. As part of their commitment to encouraging youth participation and leadership in agriculture, Jessa’s Barnyard Buddies has also established a scholarship opportunity for participants and volunteers who have taken part in the Jessa’s Barnyard Buddies Livestock Expo. This scholarship provides an opportunity to recognize and support the dedication, hard work, and involvement of local youth and volunteers while encouraging them to continue pursuing their educational and agricultural goals. Jessa's Barnyard Buddies also makes an ongoing effort to participate in other community events whenever invited, demonstrating our genuine commitment to being an active, supportive, and positive presence within our local community. Through these efforts, Jessa’s Barnyard Buddies strives to educate, include, encourage, and invest in the future of local youth of all capabilities while making a lasting and positive difference in the community.
