LBDF Autism Event 

Los Banos Fire Department hosts an Autism Meet & Greet with Local First Responders in April. This is a community event that is for people with disabilities and their families. First Responders from Los Banos Police Department, Merced County Fire Department, SWAT from Merced County Sheriff's Office, Mercy Air Med Flight, Riggs Ambulance, and numerous local organizations who provide services to families with Autism are in attendance. Volunteers from AT&T and students from Los Banos Jr. High FFA volunteered their time to help with the event. Jessa's Barnyard Buddies hosted their petting zoo at the 2024 event and will hope to continue to do so.
