Q. Is this event free?
A. Yes it is free, all you need to do is complete the participation form.

Q: How old does my child need to be to participate?
A: Children between the ages of 5-21 can participate in the Livestock Event

Q. Can anyone participate in the livestock show?
A: Although we strive to make our event inclusive for everyone, this is an event that caters specifically for children with special needs.

Q: What type of disability does my child need to have in order to participate in the Livestock Experience?
A: Any disability qualifies, physical, learning or any other disability your child may have.

Q: Does my child have to show an animal in the showmanship competition at the Livestock Experience?
A: No, each child drives the level of involvement they feel comfortable with. We do maintain a schedule and possible involvement for each child but there is a lot of flexibility.

Q: Is there someway that I can help since I can not show in the livestock event?
A: We welcome all and any help, you can register to become a volunteer through the showman app.

Q: Can I bring my own animal to show at the livestock show?
A: All animals for the show will be provided.

Q:Can I stay with my child throughout the day at the Livestock Experience?
A: Yes, you are welcome to hang out with them or sit in the bleachers where your child will be within eyesight most of the day.

Q: What does a volunteer do?
A: There are several volunteer positions available we have "buddies" and "herdsman"

Q: What does a "buddy" do?
A: They partner with a special needs child and they work together through ought the day during the Livestock Experience.

Q: What does a "herdsman" do?
A: They help with set up, tear down, clean up, apparel sales, craft stations, and much more.

Q:Can I invite my family to come watch?
A:Yes, all families are welcomed to come and stay during the whole event.
